Hello, and welcome to another Game Changer blog! Today, we are going to give you a walkthrough of one of our most popular games - Sweet Swap.
It’s a game that was inspired by a very fun, extremely popular mobile game, but it has enough of its own special flavor to set it apart and make it special. Including, as you might imagine, some sweet, sweet crypto rewards.

If you’ve owned a smartphone in the last 11 years, you’ve probably crossed paths with Candy Crush at some point.
We’re obviously being sarcastic here, everybody and their literal grandmother has seen and played Candy Crush since its launch in 2012. It pioneered the freemium monetization model most mobile games use now, and it was earning its developer/publisher King $1 million per day at one point.
All of that was said to say this, Candy Crush’s aesthetics and gameplay are instantly recognizable and beloved. We love it too, that’s why we made an homage to it with our game. The colorful tiles, the delightful effects, it’s all there and ready to consume your free time once more!
Simple and Sweet Gameplay

Just like Candy Crush, the gameplay we have created for Sweet Swap is dead simple. All you have to do is match three or more of the colorful, vaguely sweet-shaped tiles to clear them out, gain points, and conquer the level. The intoxicating challenge level increases steadily as you build your skills, ensuring that no round is ever exactly a cakewalk.
After all, this is a game about candy! There’s no room for cakes!
Each level of the game presents you with a limited number of moves you can make, with which you will need to clear a set number of game boards. Your mission? To clear every grey tile by making matches before you run out of moves. Don’t waste more than a few moves on any one game board, because that’ll ensure your failure!
The gameplay is periodically spiced up with the introduction of delicious power-ups that can get you out of tight spots, clear tricky rows, and boost your high score. How do gummy bears and plastic-wrapped candies make every tile around them explode into tasty confetti? We don’t know, but it sure is addicting!

That’s right, when you’re ready to take on the Sweet Swap big leagues, you can enter special tournaments where the prizes can be even sweeter than the game!
You know how Sweet Swap works by now, and that’s what you’ll see when you enter a tournament. At any given time, there could be several tournament types happening for this game, but the most frequent are GEM Slam and Looper-style tournaments.
GEM Slam tournaments are for up to three players, and require an entrance fee of a set number of Game Changer’s exclusive cryptocurrency - GEM. In exchange, the player with the highest score will win a prize pool that is also in GEM, adding to their playing power for more Sweet Swap or other similar tournaments.
On the other hand, Looper tournaments require an entry fee in USDC, and pay out a prize pool in USDC to the player with the highest score. These particular tournaments are for up to six players, so the stakes are a little higher.
Even though they may seem sweet-natured, don’t take other Sweet Swap players for fools. They’re probably just as ruthless as you are, so be ready for a fight!
